Online Polling Place Locators for 2012 Presidential Election
2012 Presidential Election will be held today, November 6, and there are plenty of sites to facilitate the Americans to find their polling places and times they are open.
Google has a tool called "Google Politics & Elections" is available here where people can type in the address and Google retrieves information about polling place voters.
The nonpartisan www.canivote.org site also offers tools for registered voters to find their polling place.
In most countries, citizens must register before they can vote.
Another website is www.vote411.org nonpartisan. Besides provinding polling place locations, this website provides information related to the election as early voting options and voter registration forms.
Residents can also access the state elections Web site, which includes voter guide, registration information and deadlines, absences and date of early voting, provisional ballot information and polling hours and locations.
